My Preschool Program

Welcome to my Preschool Program! The program is called Reaching for the Stars. I also use what I have been taught from teachers in the past as well. Also, I use teacher websites and books. This program is optional. At the begining of this program there will be Developmental Evalution Form that I will fill out for each child to see where they are at. You will get a copy of the Form when it is completed. There is a theme for each week and it may differ depending on where the children are at in the program. You will get a family newsletter each month explaining on will happen that month. I am not strict with the program, because I want the children to learn at their own pace. Here are just a  few examples of what this program has too offer:

February:

    Theme for the Month; Color-Pink, Shape-Heart, Number-8, Letter's- P, Q, and R, and the Community Helper- The Mailman.

    Theme for the Weeks; Shadow Fun, Be my Valentine, Birthday Bash, and The Human Motor.

I also work with them on there writing skills. They first will be taught how to hold a pencil correctly. When doing writing skills they will be tracing lines, shapes, stick figures, and also their names.

 "Kids are kids, and to be kids they have to play, to play they get dirty, getting dirty means they had fun, when they have fun they are happy, when they are happy I have done my job."
